FESTIVAL

Pas de Trai has quickly become one of the most eagerly awaited and beloved events of the Sicilian summer. Located within the picturesque Nebrodi park, the festival collects together some of the most interesting acts to be found anywhere on the local and international music scene. The festival takes its name from an ancient language spoken only in San Fratello, and is the original name of the district in which the festival takes place. Guests who find themselves following the "Pas de Trai" (Path of the three), will experience a heavenly journey walking its paths and relishing its flavors and aromas. "A paradise to be explored through the senses".
...More than just music! During the 5 days of festival, there are many opportunities to try out different activities, including Astronomy and Star-gazing (far from the light pollution of the city), Yoga, Shiatsu and a wide variety of different workshops!

San Fratello
and the Nebrodi Park

San Fratello is a small municipality located in the Messina province. Known in medieval times as San Filadelfo, San Fratello was repopulated by the Lombard soldiers during the Norman conquest. It is part of the Nebrodi regional Park, which, at 86.000 hectares is the largest protected area of outstanding natural beauty in Sicily. Today, it bursts with life and the vibrations of natural light and wonderful landscapes; a simply magical place, forged by the woods and the people that inhabit it. Nestled in the forested mountains, the town has retained much of his historical charm, and its unique and rich history lives on. Walking through its narrow streets, you will still be able to hear the sound of the Gallic-Italic dialect of the northern settlers, preserved and unspoiled after centuries.
